Clothing Items We’ll have access to laundry machines at the ranch and we’ll have time to do laundry each week. Temperatures should be pleasant but could range from the 40’s at night, to 80’s during the day. You will have access to a shared closet and 2-4 dresser drawers.
Ranch work clothes that you can get stained, painted or otherwise could throw away at the end of the project. Bring at least 3 pairs of pants, 2 long sleeve shirts, and at least 3 short sleeve shirts for this category.
Be sure and bring at least onepair good leather work gloves for daily use.
Regular clothes- These are nicer clothes that you might wear after workto discipleship activities, to church, to lounge around on a day off, to take camping, or to wear to town to do outreach. Bring about 3 sets of clothes like these.
A week or more of underwear, socks and undergarments
light jacket or hoodie
Work shoes (should be comfortable, close toed, and the sturdier the better)
Regular sneaker shoes
Flip flops or sandals (optional)
Hat with brim for sun protection
Winter Beanie hat for cold evenings
Swim Suit- one piece or Tankini for girls. No speedos for men.
Camping Items (go buy or borrow these if you don’t have them. You can ask MPM staff for help!)
Medium weight coat for evening
Hiking boots (for a back pack trip, should be water proof, and broken in)
Lighter weight Sleeping bag rated to 40 degrees
sleeping sheet (recommended)
Sleeping Pad (bed roll to put your sleeping bag on top of)
Rain poncho
Sun glasses
Flashlight/ headlamp
Lighter
Insect repellent
Small First Aid Kit
Pocket knife
